J2 Tanning Has Acquired Sun Studio in Dewitt!
Effective April 1, 2019, Sun Studio will be under the ownership of J2 Tanning and will be closing the location at 12900 S US 27 in Dewitt. We are very excited to welcome all of Sun Studio’s clients to the J2 Tanning brand and our 7 convenient locations. With any of our J2 Tanning locations, you will always enjoy updated bulbs, a wide selection of lotions, an unlimited spray tan membership, and the very popular $10 unlimited tanning membership.
We want to make sure this is a positive experience for all clients and remain committed to bringing the same service and quality you are used to.
All existing Sun Studio unlimited, session, and minute packages will be honored at our J2 Tanning locations.

Why the change in ownership?
J2 Tanning is always actively looking to expand and grow our brand. We offer top notch customer service, quality lotions, and equipment and bulbs that will get you the absolute best color. The change will help us bring this experience to more consumers in the Lansing market.
What will happen to existing Sun Studio packages?
All packages purchased will be honored. Whether you have a current month unlimited or a handful of sessions left, you may use them in the level that you purchased them for. The first time you visit a J2 Tanning location, we will spend a few minutes to get an updated release form and manually transfer your package, but after that, you may easily use any location. Any client under 18 must bring in a parent for the first session to sign a release form with us.
When is the Sun Studio location closing?
The last day for tanning at the Sun Studio location at 12900 S US 27 is March 31, 2019. At that point, you may visit any J2 Tanning location to continue your package. The closest J2 Tanning location is at 13171 Schavey Rd in the Schavey Plaza in Dewitt.
